TO THE TEXAS STRIPER ASSOCIATION (TSA). The Texas Striper Association was established 20 years ago in 1990. The Texas Striper Association hosted 7 Striper tournaments this year. The The tournaments were on Possum Kingdom Lake, Lake Texoma, Lake Whitney, Lake Tawakoni, Lake Belton and Lake Lewisville. The tournaments were open to both TSA members and non-members. We really hope that you will fish with us on the 2011 TSA Tournament Trail.

Congratulations to TEAM HOOK SET TSA's 2010 TEAM OF THE YEAR! TEAM HOOK SET was represented by Darrell Nowlain and Charles Howard. Both of these Champions are Striper Guides on Lake Whitney and Lake Belton. Central Texas Striper Guide Service is owned and operated by Darrell Nowlain and Hook Set Guide Service is owned and operated by Charles Howard.

Team Hook Set wins the TSA 2010 Team of The Year Title with 47.40 pounds and 420 Tournament Trail points. They accomplished this impressive win without fishing in all of the tournaments! Congratualtions to Charles Howard and Darrell Nowlain of Team Hook Set.

For those of you who are experienced or accomplished Striper Fishermen, the TSA is a great place to meet others who share your passion for Striper fishing, learn new techniques and to share your experiences.

For those of you who are new to striper fishing, the TSA is a great place to learn how to catch stripers. All of the TSA Members are more than willing to answer any questions you might have, ranging from how and where to catch shad to what is the best fishing tackle to use for catching Stripers.
